Lee Gelernt, Deputy Director of the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project, is visiting Texas Law as the G. Rollie White Public Interest Scholar in Residence. Steven Herzog, counsel with Paul Weiss, heads the ACLU steering committee on family separation, and is one of the Paul Weiss lawyers working with the ACLU to litigate a damages case seeking compensation for separated families from the United States and former Trump administration officials.
This conversation is part of an occasional series hosted by the Mithoff Program to highlight successful pro bono collaborations between nonprofit organizations and private law firms and will include conversation about the dynamics of nonprofit-law firm partnerships.
